Make sure that your customers can find you easily on the day by organising clear, directional signage.

Contact:

  • your Local Authority's Highways Department
  • motoring organisations

The local authority will advise you on the legal issues covering what signs can be used and where. The AA and RAC can erect temporary directional signs. Make sure your signs are bilingual, by contacting the Welsh Language Board www.welsh-language-board.org.uk for help and advice. If you feel that it would be helpful to provide information in any other language, the Institute of Linguists www.iol.org.uk or the Institute of Translation and Interpreting www.iti.org.uk can help you to source language services.

As a general guide your event should:
  • be at least 6-8 weeks away
  • have sufficient parking for visitors
  • meet local authority highway criteria

Key Points:
