There are many competing festival and events at local, regional and national levels. As soon as you confirm the date, it is essential to get this into printed and online listings.

There are many forms of festival/event listings. Getting your event listed is an important part of early Marketing & PR activity.

Have the following information available:

  • date/s
  • title of event
  • venue
  • time (eg. 10.30 -17.30)
  • contact details
  • website address if used
  • short description of festival/event

Key Points:

  • Get your date into events listings as far in advance of the event as is feasible
  • Make sure that information published is correct
  • If there are changes/updates make sure everyone amends their records
